Returns, Refunds & Delivery Policy
Delivery
Zietta delivers chilled and frozen products using temperature-controlled transport, keeping them within a safe temperature range at all times to protect quality and food safety.
Because our products are perishable, deliveries cannot be left unattended — someone must be present to receive the order and refrigerate or freeze it immediately.
If you ask us to deliver to a neighbour, responsibility for the order passes to them on delivery, and they must store the products correctly straight away. For food-safety reasons, we never leave orders outside.
Right of withdrawal (14-day cooling-off period)
Under EU and Dutch consumer law, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that are perishable or that can deteriorate or expire quickly (Article 6:230p of the Dutch Civil Code, implementing Directive 2011/83/EU). Our chilled and frozen food falls under this exemption, so it cannot be cancelled or returned once your order has been dispatched simply because you have changed your mind.
This exemption does not affect your legal rights if something is wrong with your order — see below.
Damaged, incorrect, or incomplete orders
Your statutory rights always apply. If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, incomplete, or otherwise not as described, please inspect it on delivery and contact us at info@ziettabox.com within 24 hours, including your order number and photos where possible.
We will assess each case and provide an appropriate remedy — normally a replacement or a full or partial refund. You do not need to return perishable items for this; we will tell you if anything needs to be returned.
Refunds
Where a refund is due (for example, a confirmed damaged, incorrect, or incomplete order), we will refund you to your original payment method within 10 business days of approving your claim. Your bank or card provider may need additional time to post the refund.
